Museums- Rainhill Trials Exhibition- Rainhill Library-Rocket 190.

A lovely weekend was had at the Rocket 190 celebrations in Rainhill. They followed on from the 1979 Rocket 150 celebrations which you can see HERE and also on BBC iPlayer you can see the Cavalcade.

I liked the balloon Rocket in the florists window, the trains made of flowers in the church and the traction engine. Rainhill Library also houses the Rainhill Trials Museum which is all stored in a former railway carriage. Lets have a look.
