Cities- Salisbury-Wiltshire.
In Covid land, having a very short window to visit somewhere far away must be taken. Back in August, when you could sort of visit places far away, Dan and I visited Salisbury. It was very quaint and golden and had an excellent public toilets sign.
I enjoyed the large car park very much and listening to the trains passing by. I also watched THIS nice film whilst eating my sausage roll and decided the rest of the day would now look like this.
I very much enjoyed the Cathedral and its creamy coloured stone. I also enjoyed a very big Henry Moore sculpture, just sat on the grass, nice and quiet. This was part of a contemporary art exhibition, celebrating 800 years of Spirit and Endeavour. If you go HERE you can watch an interactive tour.
We arrived too late to see the Magna Carta but the Cloisters had good ancient graffiti and shiny floors.
I liked Salisbury very much and the wide selection of grid covers and a very nice fudge Stonehenge.
Lets have a look at what we saw;
