Churches- Tin Tabernacle- Pentecostal Mission Hall-Southbourne-West Sussex.

Without trying to incorporate another ‘World Tour’ event and adding ‘Tin Tabernacle’ at the end, I decided to pay a small visit to the little odyssey that is Southbourne and their tin tabernacle. There isn’t that much information about it but good old Wikipedia says;

‘This abandoned tin tabernacle is on the road leading to Thorney Island. It was used by a group of Pentecostal worshippers who originally met at a house on the same road. The building was acquired second-hand from Selsey, where it was in secular use, taken apart and transported to Hermitage, where it was rebuilt on a site where a footpath leaves Thorney Road.’

There is a bit more about it HERE.

I liked it and even sank into a mud hole round the back. 10/10 for the tabernacle. 0/10 for the mud hole.
