Botanical-Plantlife- No Mow May.

I took part properly this year in not mowing the grass. I don’t need to be told twice and I was told not to by Plantlife.

‘Plantlife’s No Mow May campaign doesn’t ask you to do much. In fact, it asks you to not do anything at all.’

So I did nothing at all, not a peep. I watched the grass grow and saw all of the dandelions and plantain start to waft about and saw the bees come for their dinners.

In a world where somehow tidy grass verges and gardens seems to be the required standard, leaving the grass to grow was a lovely thing.
