Heritage Open Days are great. Not only can you go and see places that you have never even heard of before but you can visit the places you have driven past for years and never really thought about.

The Ancient Chapel of Toxteth is just one of those places. Situated on the corner of Park Road and Ullet Road, it sits quietly, watching all that pass and in its over 400 year history I bet it has seen a lot.
