Infrastructure- Clarkes Gardens Variant WW2 Pill Box,Liverpool.

On a very hot day in July, I finally after always driving past and saying I would, got out of the car to look at the Pillbox in Clarkes Gardens.

It sits very quietly by the road and opposite is the Allerton Hall pub, which I know as the pub in the park.

It is a bit unhappy looking with big cracks and a wobbly brick but otherwise it quietly watches, keeping us safe. Go HERE to see the Defence of Britain archive listing and HERE to see how you can record any Pillbox finds you see on Citizan.
