Parks-Calderstones Park & The Calderstones-Liverpool.

A second visit to Calderstones Park but this time in Midsummer. The main objectives were to find the Allerton Oak which I have posted about HERE and the site of the old greenhouses.

Starting from the car park, I carried on walking in a straight line through the park towards Jubilee Drive.

I saw the last remaining greenhouse from the botanical garden that used to be there. Objective complete.

Go HERE to read more about them and HERE to see The Calder Stones inside the greenhouse before they were moved.

The little museum is really good and also houses The Reader bookshop.

The park itself is lovely with even more Parakeets than last time. The sheer amount of different trees is far too overwhelming so go HERE to read about what you can find in the park.

HERE is a walk that you can do and go HERE to see my first trip.
