Graveyards- Christ Church-Glasson Dock-Lancashire.

Christ Church in Glasson Dock, sits alongside the Lancaster Canal. I used to visit a lot when it had the book sale on but I am not sure it still does. On what was a very rare hot burnt summer day, I drove up to Glasson and took a walk round to the church. Mainly to see what flowers where in bloom in the graveyard and along the canal.

Wild carrot won the day with its frilly umbels and the gentle Love in a Mist/Nigella are always nice to see.

Nothing much went on, I walked around, listened to some Coots shouting and rescued a tired bumble bee off the towpath.

A nice afternoon of not much, but also everything.

There are some pictures from an older visit to the church and surrounding areas HERE.
