Botanical, Castlefield Viaduct, Manchester.

A late August trip on the train to see the Grade II listed Castlefield Viaduct. For years going into Manchester, you would pass the viaduct on the way into Piccadilly. I never gave it much thought to be honest. However somebody did and it is now part of The National Trust who have made it into a garden in the sky.

I loved how urban and busy it all is and especially all the original graffiti that’s been left.

Do go if you get the chance and they are currently fundraising to carry the garden on further along.
