Edgelands, Carr Mill Café, St Helens.

This whole area is due for regeneration. There is a link HERE to the new proposals. I wanted to go and see it all before it went.

The café symbolised to me one of the sights on the way to the M6 motorway. I’ve never been in there, but I did venture into United Footwear once to get some black pumps.

I do know that the Café features in the film Coast to Coast. The screenshots show the café and a lovely Lyons Maid truck. The pallet yard is in the background with United Footwear, plus its flag of the shoes.
