Observations- Aurora Borealis.

AuroraWatch UK kept telling me it was coming. Red alerts all day long. I didn’t believe it as this happens quite regularly and I never see anything.

After not being bothered and seeing another three red alerts come through, I nonchalantly looked outside, Nothing. I went out into the garden, looked straight ahead and nothing.

‘I don’t care really’ I muttered as I went to shut the greenhouse door. A last quick glance the other way, then rendered me silent. A wall of green dancing lights was behind the house. I couldn’t actually believe it, swirls of green and lilac over the roof which then merged into bright pink and purple all across the sky.

After having not spoken or even breathed much for around five minutes, this otherworldly light started to wrap me up in the garden.

It was beautiful and quiet, moving through the sky. My phone caught the best of it as my eyes started to get overwhelmed. I still can’t say how I felt about it all. I am hoping I will make sense of it but maybe it is best that I don’t. It was too wonderful.
