Grief Observations, Weekend of Squirrels.

Walked to mums on Saturday. Saw a Viburnum in full bloom and the Rhododendron in the church yard has big buds ready to open. Quite cold but very sunny and crisp.

Sunday- Visited the crem. Weather was grim and cold. Over ten squirrels surrounded me for food. Mum took peanuts so it was ok.

I had bread with fat on for the Magpies. The Robin and Blackbird had some meal worms.

Everything fine until we were leaving. Two very fast sleek dogs came from nowhere and chased the squirrels to attack them.

Quite something to see as they were fixated on hunting them out. The squirrels got away but it was so precise. Like what if that was a person? Also I appreciate people take their dogs to graveyards and crems for walks or for visiting but do we need two large angry dogs running free at high speed over peoples plots? Ripping squirrels to pieces? We were quite perplexed and went for a cup of tea in Dobbies. I will be following this dog incident carefully. I may have to write a letter.
