Towns, New Brighton, Wirral.

Hoping that the last week of August was going to be sunny, I took a trip to the seaside and it was as expected, raining and cold.

Every time I have been to New Brighton (except once for a kite festival) it has rained. I think it looks better with the moody clouds and waves.

Not much to be seen really. I stayed on the front and went into Fort Perch Rock. I really wanted to get up and look at the seaside detritus shelf on the side of the wall. How long has that bucket been there? Martin Parr made The Last Resort here in the 1980’s.
