Infrastructure, Leasowe Lighthouse, Wirral.
A little further up from New Brighton you come to Leasowe Lighthouse. I always remember it mentioned in the 90’s tv programme Watching. You can take yourself back to the late 80’s and watch it HERE.
‘Leasowe Lighthouse stands on the shore of Leasowe Common on the Wirral Peninsular and is the UK’s oldest brick-built lighthouse. Built in 1763, the lighthouse stands 110 feet high and is a Grade II Listed building.’ SOURCE.
They have open days and you can walk up to the top. Go HERE to learn all about the lighthouse and see when you can visit.
