Observations, Six Robins.
Throughout the late spring and early summer, I have been feeding two robins who nested nearby. Everyday they would sing, eat their mealworms, sit on the windowsill and help me in the garden collecting bugs from under the plant pots. I didn’t see them for a week or two until last weekend when they visited with all three of their babies. A lot of shouting took place and I fed and watered endlessly with mealworms.
I am pleased to say after all of our hard work, both parents and kids are all doing well. The biggest kid sits on the fence of a morning and sometimes has a small bath.
Also, I welcomed my own little Robin, she is the best girl in the world.
